Using a secure connection when accessing the DrupalCamp LA 2011 website
If anyone’s interested, here’s a Greasemonkey userscript that redirects http://2011.drupalcampla.com to the secure version at https://2011.drupalcampla.com
Some notes:
Rename the file attachment to drupalcamp_la_2011.user.js
and install it as you would any other Greasemonkey userscript.

There's also a Firefox add-on called Force TLS
Also have a look at the wonderful Firefox add-on called Force TLS because it allows you to designate all or certain URLs to https mode regardless of how the web server originally conceived a page. I use it constantly, even though Firefox 5 now has Strict-Transport-Security baked in, because I like the user interface that Force TLS offers me.
