I’m a front end developer/themer for drupal who doesn’t know much about hooks and other drupal php functions. I’ve looked through the sessions and haven’t found any real “Intro to the PHP side of Drupal” type sessions. Would anyone be interested in presenting or sitting in on this session? I feel like an overview of the functions available to you within Drupal would be a great session to present.

Hi again Mike,

We talked about this on the g.d.o post, but do you have some idea on what the existing presentations seems like they’re missing? I’m not trying to get on your case, it’s just that people more on the expert end of things can forget what the learning curve is like. Are you looking for something like “here are the parts of Drupal’s API you should look at first”?

Or how about this: are there kinds of modifications to Drupal you’re trying to make, but you don’t know how to approach the API to find the right hooks?
