I've played with Drupal 6 a tiny bit, but now that 7 is out, I'm brand new. My background is coding IVR (interactive voice response) applications using a GUI development tool which is now obsolete. So I'm having to retool. A friend who is a Drupal site builder had previously introduced me to Drupal and suggested that I take this opportunity to go in a different direction and learn Drupal. Knowing how much I enjoyed re-designing and maintaining a website for a small non-profit, and having some knowledge of html and css as a result, I decided that she made a lot of sense. So I'm here at DrupalCamp for two days of total immersion, hoping to get a head start on the learning curve. Can't wait.
