Bio

I have been a staff member at UCI for more than fifteen years. I started out working at the Help Desk at Office of Information Technology (OIT). We were known as the Office of Academic Computing (OAC) in those days and as Network & Academic Computing Services (NACS) for a long time after that.

I still work at OIT, but I am the manager for the Web Content Group, a team of front-end web developers who use a variety of web content management systems including Cascade Server, WordPress and soon Drupal. I also am project lead on our Blogs@UCI service and our Faculty Websites project, both using WordPress multi-site.

I love my job and feel fortunate to work in an academic setting. I am surrounded by brilliant and interesting people and am helping to educate young minds. Who could ask for more? Well, maybe if I could have an office cat my life would be ideal. ;)
