In this session, I will show you how to make a Simple Hover Gallery, such that when you roll your mouse over image thumbnails, the main image changes, as well as a separate, but associated title image. A shadow overlay with text is also laid on top of the main image. This Drupal 6 presentation makes use of the following modules:

  • CCK
  • ImageCache
  • ImageField
  • Views
  • Views_Slideshow
  • FileFiled
  • NodeReference_URL

See how a fellow beginner, with a few simple Views “tricks” and some CSS, is able to make a hover gallery reminiscent of the one at Whitehouse.gov.
