Drupalchix

Rain Breaw and Nicole Bluto organized a full-force Drupalchix track for DrupalCamp LA 2009. The track was very successful, with a high turnout of women at the camp, and also of women giving technical presentations during the camp!

For 2010, we did something a little simpler, but just as effective: we hosted a table in the main community area that featured the “Drupal Doctors” or a “Help Desk” of some sort (open to anyone looking for help!), and we planned the Install Fest. We also hosted a well-attended social Saturday evening before the pub party.

For 2011, there’s an outdoor seating area near the pub if someone wants to hold another social, and new ideas are welcome. If you would like to help out, have ideas, or just want to say something, please leave your comments below. We’ll contact anyone who declares a desire to help, to be sure. :)
