DrupalCamp LA: One Week Away!
DrupalCamp LA is only a week away! With over 50 sessions published this is clearly the Drupal weekend for you!
Some exciting news to share with everyone: In addition to our SATURDAY NIGHT PRIVATE PARTY sponsored by MediaTemple, the S.E.O company Volacci is offering all-day training Friday before our camp at an amazing special price for camp attendees! We also need all our session presenters to get ready before the camp (info below).
More details below, and online at: http://2011.drupalcampla.com
Presenters: get your laptops ready before the camp
Each person planning to present needs to make sure their laptop is ready for our video recording system, provided by UC Irvine. Details here: drupalcampla.com/information/presenters
Each room has a laptop connection with VGA+audio hookup and ethernet. If you have a Mac you must bring your VGA dongle!
We record screencasts of all the camp presentations, directly from your computer screen and audio from the room microphones. UCI licenses Camtasia Relay software for this making it easy for everyone. Just install the recording client on your laptop and run it before you start your presentation. You can even run it directly from a USB flash drive. It works on Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows (no word on Linux yet).
Please visit our presenter info page for links and instructions of where and how to download the screencast software: drupalcampla.com/information/presenters
