Advanced Themeing

This session will cover how to unlock the power of Drupals theme system utilizing theme overrides, hooks, and the Theme Registry.

We’ll discuss briefly some of the changes from Drupal 6 to 7, the different things you can accomplish through the theme layer, and look at some examples of code to show some of the advanced features available in the theme system (both inside themes and modules).

A knowledge of PHP is expected as this session doesn’t dive into the front end and GUI aspect of theming, but is rather code heavy.
