Understanding Ctools: An epic BOF

Looking for co-presenters!

Want to learn Ctools? Let’s do this! No slides, just walking through a lot of demo code and talking… :D

The topics I can cover are:

• Ajax Responder
• Content plugins
• Context System (argument, context, relationships, access)
• Dependent form utility
• Dropbutton/Dropdown
• Exportables
• Jump Menus
• Modals
• Plugins API

But it would be cool if we can get some co-presenters who can talk about some of the other systems such as object caching, CSS tools, form wizards, stylizer, and more.

We’ll probably take a poll at the beginning of the session and figure out the high-demand topics to focus on and go from there. The goal of this BOF is for everyone to have a MUCH greater understanding of Ctools and be able to level-up in their Drupal chops.
