I have been working in the printing industry for many years. Some of my clients have asked me if I also do websites. It seams like people who need printing also need a website. About 5 years ago I started to build some basic sites in html. 3 years ago I was asked to build a site with a back end that my client can manage on their own. I produced this site by outsourcing it to India. We got it all done but it was a very difficult process. This is when I did some research and connected with the LA Drupal user group. Since then I am learning how Drupal works in my spare time. I also realize that there are quite a few programing skills required to build a drupal site from scratch. I am now using drupal gardens and it has made the learning curve a little easier.
